Nibbles Posted June 6, 2003 Report Posted June 6, 2003 Yup, you know those little things that sell cars ! Well, as I am sure anyone else who has kids using their precious Galaxy as an Indoor softplay area will know, that the covers either side of the front gearchange don't last very long. THe little plastic nodes have busted and I was wondering if anyone has got any practical solutions to provding a secure hold ?Also one of the covers has gone missing - are they replaceable ? Ta. mustie Posted September 16, 2005 Report Posted September 16, 2005 Cup holders you can get from ebay one of mine broke and a put 2 small screws from the inside of the holder into the console and its all ok better than buying another 1 just for that to get broken Quote

Guest topcarp2 Posted September 20, 2005 Report Posted September 20, 2005 LITTLE NODES BROKEN....here's a fix..remove centre consol...drill out the remaining stump..get a welding rod and remove the flux..cut it to length pass it thru the drilled hole and araldite it in place from the inside of the consol...never break again...if you wanna be really posh you can buy stainless rod from the rs catalogue and it saves you hunting for a welding rod...
